Mission Statement:
To provide a loving, caring, inclusive learning environment where every child is valued and heard. This is achieved by preparing children through outdoor and indoor experiences through play and hands-on learning while also nurturing their growth with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the North Carolina Early Learning Standards.
Our five pillars of our mission are: outdoor education, literacy and language, math and science, the arts, and community involvement.

About Our Staff
Tirion Sheafor (Founder and 3/4 teacher)
Bachelor of Arts: Ohio Wesleyan University, 2016
Major: Early Childhood Education AND Spanish
Masters of Education: College of Charleston, 2018
Tirion Sheafor was raised in Cornelius, NC, just north of Charlotte. She then moved to Delaware, OH, where she participated on the Ohio Wesleyan University Varsity Swimming and Diving Team for four years and double majored in Spanish and Early Childhood Education. After completing her undergraduate degree, Tirion attended College of Charleston where she earned a Masters in Education of Languages. She lived in Charleston for 6 years teaching 2 and 3 year olds for 4 years before moving back to the Charlotte area. She taught in Davidson as a fours teacher for 4 years as well as one year in Huntersville. When Tirion is not teaching preschool she works for a 501c3, Swim Carolinas, whose home base is Huntersville. She is both a swim coach and swim lesson instructor. When she is not teaching, swimming, coaching, or exercising, you will find her reading, often outdoors.
Haley Sheafor (Founder and 3/4 teacher)
